Harriette Line Thompson ’47

At Syracuse University, Harriette “Hattie” Line Thompson began a career as a concert pianist, as well as an enduring, 67-year marriage to fellow alum Sydnor Thompson ’47. Then at age 76, she started running marathons to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma research—something she’s still doing today.

Tanya Forrest Hall ’93

An accomplished marketing professional, Tanya Forrest Hall has more than 15 years of experience in marketing/media strategy, account management, business development, brand messaging, and event and broadcast production. Currently, she is the executive sales director for the Southeast region of American Urban Radio Networks (AURN), the largest African-American-owned radio network.

Mark Verone ’95

Newhouse grad Mark Verone is director of ad operations and content management for Gogo, a global leader of in-flight connectivity and a pioneer in wireless in-flight digital entertainment solutions. He is also the president of the Syracuse University Alumni Association.
