Drouin wins Canadian National Junior Championship in the heptathlon


Syracuse freshman Jillian Drouin won the Canadian National Junior Championship in the heptathlon with 4,525 points. With the victory, she qualifies to represent Canada in the Pan-American Junior Championship July 28-31 in Windsor, Ontario. Drouin also finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.69 meters.

Drouin finished fifth at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship in the heptathlon, totaling 4,562 points. Her collegiate personal-best is 4,625 points, which was good for second-place at the Hurricane Invitational.
